JavaScript Job: SaaS B2B Front End Web Developer (FULLY REMOTE!!)

At WhatConverts we innovate and initiate! We are a dynamic SaaS company who offers a comprehensive lead tracking solution for marketers - one place to track ALL leads. As the Front-End Web Developer at WhatConverts, you'll play a critical role in taking our website to the next level. You'll also connect with our Product team and play a role in assisting web projects related to our platform.
We're looking for an experienced individual contributor who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty and can take full ownership of our website strategy & execution. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial and passionate about creating websites that clearly articulate value propositions, educate buyers, and provide a seamless online experience for visitors.
This is a fully-remote, full-time position (40 hours per week) that can be conducted from anywhere within 3 hours of US Eastern Time Zone.

In this role you'll get to:

• Build new web pages, optimize existing ones, maintain the backend health of the site, and maintain/update themes, plugins, and security updates.
• Ensure that our website is responsive and optimized for search engines.
• Continually improve standard web metrics and SEO (i.e., time to paint, page load speed, etc.)
• Work with our Marketing Manager, Graphic Designer, and other teams to determine overall website strategy & execution.
• Assist with A/B testing new creative/variants on the site to increase conversion.
• Implement, use and maintain WhatConverts Website Design System and Components Library.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new front-end web development technologies and apply them to enhance the usability and efficiency of the website.

What we're looking for:

• 3-5 years of experience in Wordpress web development manipulating and fully customizing CMS themes.
• Experience in front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
• Experience working with and understanding SEO and website analytics.
• Comfortable adding/troubleshooting various CMS plugins and add-ons.
• Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards.
• You write code that can be easily understood by others, with an eye towards maintainability.
